Welcome to Codsall Dance School - dancing since 1973 with our founder Cecilia Whitmore at the heart of our school since it began over 50 years ago. We have served the Codsall community and surrounding areas preparing pupils for annual examinations and shows and we're proud to have been part of Codsall and Dudley Arts Festivals on many occasions. 

We have recently had a new Principal, Harriet Hommers take  the reigns of the school, who is bringing some fresh and exciting new elements to all our classes and training. Harriet actually attended this school from the age of 3 to 16, before she went onto to theatre school and to have a successful career performing with in the theatre industry herself. She is now very excited to use her own experiences to start training the next generation of stars. 

Many generations of families have passed through our doors and we continue to instil a love of dance in our pupils. Our classes are vibrant and happy places which seek to nurture and develop children to achieve their own aspirations. We welcome children and adults of all ages and have a strong family atmosphere at the centre of our school. 

We're based in Codsall Wood, South Staffordshire and are accredited members of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (N.A.T.D.) and recognised by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre (CDMT) and the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). 

Every year our pupils take part in  examinations in all grades of ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance and we're immensely proud of our 100% pass rate. We also present our work at our annual show in aid of local charities, hosted at Colton Hills School, near Wolverhampton each December. 

Codsall Dance school has seen many of our pupils succeed in professional dance and theatre work including teaching, performing on professional stages and even television appearances.
